CORPORATE GIVING AND PARTNERSHIPS
Good partners make all the difference in the world!
A BETTER WORLD BLOOMS
Today’s leading companies are driven by vision and action. Contributing to the well-being of the communities and society they affect and on which they depend, they are a force for building inclusive, economically-secure and sustainable communities. The Bee Camp team is partnering with companies who align with its values and seek to maximize their positive impact. Thus, we have designed a range of opportunities for companies to support The Bee Camp programs. Whether you work with us to promote environmental education, built a Bee Spot – habitat or extend Athens Bee Path project , we have the customizable tools and solutions you need to create and enhance your corporate giving strategy. No matter your contribution, we look forward to growing this colony together!
Sustainable Development Goals – SDGs
The Bee Camp directly contributes to the achievement of the following UN Sustainable Development Goals:
HOW CAN I HELP?
1
Corporate Volunteering
Take action along with your team by participating in the Seed- bombing project of The Bee Camp. The Seed- bombing project is a conservation action that aims to make cities greener, filling them with colorful, native wildflowers, the favorite food of the bees! By creating and planting small balls of clay and soil that contain the seeds of pollinator-friendly plants, the "seed bombs", we offer to the bees nutritious food: plants rich in pollen and nectar. Participants will also learn in a fun and interactive way about the essential role of bees in our ecosystem and the threats that they are facing. Together, we can make cities a better place to be for both people and the bees!
2
Team Building
Bee-Days
Built trust and enhance communication on your team while supporting bees and the environment. Through our team-building activities, the participants will learn about the essential role of bees in our ecosystem in a fun, interactive way. Participants have to work as a team so as to complete an environmental challenge and save the bees! The team- building Bee- Day program is also a great opportunity for the families of the staff. A family fun day is the best way to develop and foster employee relationships as well as raise awareness about the topic. Through play, families come together while learning about nature and the environment. Only by educating the next generation, inspiring respect and love for nature, will we ever be able to hope for a more sustainable future for all of us!
3
Adopt
a Bee-Spot
In our aim to protect solitary bees and pollinators we create them safe shelters in the city- center. Solitary bees are not like honeybees that live in hives. As their name suggests, they make their nests on their own and lay their eggs in tunnels, such as in dead wood or hard soil. To help them we make an installation that consists of plants rich in pollen and nectar and “bee- hotels”, constructions that mimics the conditions of natural bee- nests. By offering to the bees food and shelter we try to create for them alternative habitats within the city. We have already managed to install nine Bee Spots in Athens. Our vision is it expand our impact and built more Bee Spots not only in Athens but also in other major cities of Greece that are in great need. Adopt a Bee Spot and help us to create green heavens for our valuable pollinators!
4
Zero-waste
gifts
We all love gifting and receiving but we still have to consider our environmental impact! For that reason, the Bee Camp team developed a series of zero-waste, branded, corporate gifts that literally flourish! Choose between the Seedbombs (a package with 3 seedbombs) and the Seed Mix envelopes and help bees and other pollinators to find food. Both contain seeds that will grow into bee-friendly plants, rich in pollen and nectar, the favorite food of the bees.. Make your garden or balcony bloom, full of assorted wildflowers while you help bees and other pollinators! Show you care with gifts that protect wildlife and the environment!
