WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Seed bombs are small balls of clay and soil that contain the seeds of pollinator friendly plants!
We gather, we craft them, we throw them away and let the sun, the rain and the soil do their job.
The result?
Colorful wildflowers in our city, the favorite food of the bees!
WHY?
ATHENS SEED BOMBING project aims to change the face of this concrete city.
We are greening the city, filling it with colorful, native wildflowers, the favorite food of pollinators!
It is a fun project that can unite ecologists, families, gardeners, teachers, students - from young children, teenagers to retirees - with a specific goal, to make cities a better place to be for both people and the bees!!
